3. Responsibility for content

The pages of pidgeon.fyi that we write — this site and its legal documents — are ours, and PCN Ventures UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is responsible for them.

What a pidgeon finds is not ours. A brief points to articles, posts and pages published by other people on public sources, with their titles and short excerpts and a summary written by a language model. The linked content belongs to whoever published it. We do not check it, and the summary can be wrong; the terms say what that means for you.

A pidgeon’s prompt is its owner’s. We store it on their behalf, and when they share a pidgeon by link we show its name, summary and prompt to whoever opens the link. For that content we are an intermediary within the meaning of Articles 4 to 6 of the Digital Services Act. What we do when a pidgeon is reported to us is in the terms.

4. Where the data lives

Accounts, pidgeons and what they find are held in a database in the European Union (Ireland). Some of the companies that help run the service may process data outside the EU; the privacy policy names each of them, says what it handles, and says how a transfer is covered.

5. Supervision and dispute resolution

We are established in Germany. For the Digital Services Act, the competent authority is Germany’s Digital Services Coordinator, the Bundesnetzagentur.

For data protection, the competent authority is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin — datenschutz-berlin.de. If you are in another EU or EEA country you may complain to your own national authority instead.

We are not bound to use an alternative dispute resolution body, and we do not currently commit to one. A consumer may use whatever body is competent where they live. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform is not listed here because it was shut down in July 2025.
